Family Sessions FAQ
How do I book my session?
Click the link above to view my family session calendar for this year,. You’ll be taken to a booking page where you can select your session location, date, and time, and pay your deposit. Once you’ve finished the booking process, you’ll automatically receive an email confirming your family session booking.
Session times book quickly, especially around on weekends and around holiday weekends, so be sure to reserve your session time as soon as possible!
How can I use my family session?
These sessions are for couples, families (maximum 7 people), individuals, pets, maternity –with whoever and however you’d like!
What is your rescheduling policy?
You may reschedule your family session up to 48 hours in advance of your scheduled session. Reschedules requested less than 24 hours in advance will incur a $175 rescheduling fee.

How are images delivered?
You’ll receive an online gallery of edited, high resolution JPEG images, with instructions on how to digitally download your photos.
What is the turnaround time for my photos?
My usual turnaround time is 2-3 weeks. Expedited edits (3 business days) is available for an additional $100 – look for this option when booking.
How are your session times determined?
The light is best 2 hours after sunrise and 2 hours before sunset - I try to schedule my sessions around these times to make use of this.
Do we get to see more than 10 images from our family session?
All clients will receive a gallery of at least 30-50 images to make selections from.
How can we download our entire gallery?
You can purchase your entire gallery for $100, or additional images for $25/each.
What should we wear?
I recommend coordinating outfits from the same color palette but avoid wearing completely matching outfits.
I have a newborn or baby under 6 months – what would you recommend?
I recommend booking a full portrait session at your home – please email me to schedule! If you’d like an outdoor location, I recommend bringing a basket and/or decorative props – these will look better in photos than a regular stroller or carrier.
Where do you recommend we get our photos printed?
I recommend ordering prints directly through your photo gallery!
